History

In 1991, martial arts classes were founded by the First Baptist Church in Yuciapa, California, by the church staff and the Omega Christian Karate Association-- headed by Sensei Manual Corona and Sensei John Moore. For awhile, this class was known as the First Baptist Church Karate Class.


In 1993, Sensei Denny Buskirk founded and directed the American Christian Karate Association and Sensei Joe Robinson was awarded the position of first Assistant Director.

In 1998, ACKA expanded into the Yucaipa Christian Church, under the leadership of Sensei Brian Boyd.
